I Need to Poo

Shampoos.....this one or that one?

Wash n Go..Pinned up the sides
That seems to be the question that I've been asking myself for a very long time now. I discovered that what works for one person may not work for another. My hair use to feel so silky and smooth after I used Motions' shampoo but now post-perm; it feels dry and brittle. So I've stopped using it and have moved to using Creme of Nature. I must say that I love the results and how soft my hair feels afterwards. Sometimes I feels so good that I just do a wash n go..hence the pic! I'm very skeptical about leave-in conditioners so I haven't used the bottle of Creme of Nature Lemongrass and Rosemary Leave-in creme conditioner for dehydrated hair yet.
I've been reading a lot of articles online and ran across http://blackdoctor.org/8016/top-10-shampoos-for-black-hair/ . This site has lots of good information but this link truly gives a list of the top 10 shampoos that are good for African American hair. I'm thinking of buying the Hydratherma Naturals Moisture Boosting Shampoo or Renpure’s My Pretty Hair is Parched! Moisturizing Shampoo. I'll decide and post about my results in weeks to come.
Hope everyone chooses one of the shampoos and tries one as well or at least let me know what shampoo you are already using. Thankx

Flat Twist

Love it when I get compliments on my hair styles!! So this is the new one that I've done for this week. I've had several guys tell me it looks good and also women as well. That is a big deal, since women don't usually give each other compliments! So yes I know the back isn't actually on POINT but its okay. I've defiantly got to work on my parts but my "flat twist" are getting better. This style is flat twist going up and single twist on the top. The left side has three flat twist and the rest of the top are single twist. I just pinned them up some kind of way! I think it looks good and its very weather friendly.

Embracing Me!

So Happy!!!

I'm starting to understand myself and understand most importantly MY HAIR!! I'm enjoying the fact that I've embraced my own natural hair. No more PERMS for me!! Its been 3 years and it doesn't even seem like it. Nearly due to the fact that I kept my hair hidden for 2 years. Please not due to being ashamed but just out of pure laziness!! I didn't want to mess with it nor be bothered. I love the joy of just getting up and getting dressed! It take so long to do something with my hair. I want to learn how to do more with my hair and not put weave in so often; but I love twist and braids! That's a picture of me with twist; by the way I did them myself. I nearly always do my own hair...I don't like people playing in my head like that!

Well this is my little page to just talk about what I'm doing new, what I'm using on my hair, what I'm doing with my hair, and just to keep up with the progress that I've been making.

Thanks for checking me out and stay tuned for greatness!
